Dato’ Tan Sing Chia, a well-established and professional businessman, places great emphasis on integrity and accountability in all his undertakings thus gaining the confidence, trust and close cooperation of his numerous clients, locally and internationally. Dato’ Tan, a graduate of the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, Scotland, with a B.Sc. (Hons) in Engineering, has numerous years of experience in the engineering field of the public sector before setting up his various companies.
Between 1973 and 1979, as an Electrical Engineer with the SELANGOR STATE DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION (PKNS), he was responsible for the design and supervision of various building projects before being promoted as Chief Electrical Engineer, responsible for all the electrical works in PKNS during the mentioned period.
As Managing Partner of a construction company, PEMBENAAN SUNGEI KIMA, set up in 1980, he handled the overall operations of the company especially the financial and technical management of the projects
With regards to his pragmatic view to supporting and dedicating himself to the industrialisation programs in Malaysia, he merged with a group of experienced businessman to form a group of companies successfully operating in areas of manufacturing, trading and constructions.
His credibility in the engineering and development field has not only earned him respect from his suppliers and clients, but also those from the banking arena. His managerial skills, dynamic yet persuasive personally made him a well-known figure to many. He is known as a man whose ambitious nature is an asset to the development of the company concerned, in tandem with the nation’s growth.
In recognition of his contribution towards the nation’s growth, the Government appointed him as Captain on October 15, 2001. Due to his professionalism and integrity , Dato’ Tan was promoted to Lt. Colonel in the Civil Defence , Malaysia .On July 19, 2004 the Honorary title Dato’ was conferred on him by HRH The Sultan of Negeri Sembilan in recognition of his contributions to the country and society.
Who we are
Bobby Ho
Bobby Ho is a Chartered Accountant with qualifications from the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA). He is also a member Chartered Accountant of Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA).
He started his career in a Public Accountants firm and moved on for a short stint as Accountant of a construction company. He then progressed to be a Senior Internal Auditor in a Food & Beverage conglomerate where he was in charge of managing the plant audits in Pen. Malaysia, E. Malaysia, Brunei and Indonesia.
Thereafter, he served in a Public Listed Financial institution/ Govt Linked Company for 21 and the half years of which he was Chief Executive Officer/Executive Director for 12 years. During his stint in the Financial Institution, he also had the distinction of being CEO/Executive Director of two companies concurrently. He was also director of three other companies within the financial institution.
He then ventured into the International scene by joining a Retail and Consumer Credit multinational company where he managed the credit portfolios of businesses in Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia for the next eight years. He was also involved in the establishment of a Quality Assurance unit in the group and did feasibility studies of business opportunities in the Philippines while serving as a consultant advisor to a private Internal Auditing company.
Bobby Ho brings along with him 36 years of experience which encompasses Financial Management, Credit Management, Human Resource Management, Forensic Auditing and Investigations, Debt Management and Recoveries.
Danny Liu
Danny Liu holds a Certificate in Marketing from Chartered Institute of Marketing (Uk) and a diploma in electrical & electronic engineering from Federal Institute of Technology, Kuala Lumpur. He started work in 1990 with Canon Marketing Malaysia Sdn Bhd as a Sales Executive, where he was awarded with the Top Salesman Award for Malaysia 1991.
Danny comes into this position with nearly 20 years in the lighting industry, starting with General Electric Corporation (Lighting Division) for 3 years. He joined Osram Marketing Sdn Bhd for 12 years. When he was in Osram, he rose from the post of a Sales Executive to Commercial Manager cum Key Account Manager for OEM business. He was responsible for product management for electronic control gear and managed to help Osram to capture 50% of the market share in the Malaysian market through strategic partnership with OEMs. He has won many outstanding sales performance awards whilst he was with Osram.
From 1993 to the present he moved into the lighting industry, starting with Thorn Lighting (M) Sdn Bhd as Sales Executive. He was responsible to promote and worked closely with JKR and M&E consultants on specifications work and have successfully helped Thorn to win a contract to supply downlights to KLCC Towers.
His projects include Putrajaya Parcel A, B & E, Jaya Jusco, Tesco, KLCC Twin Towers, Naza Platinum Ph3, The Strand & Gardens, Damansara city, City Campus Putrajaya, MACC, Matrade, Sunway Resort & Spa.
